You can register as a student and take your first exam today - there are no entry requirements, you don't need a work placement or a bookkeeping course. You just need to register as a student and take the qualifications in order.
If you do not yet have any bookkeeping knowledge, you can take a bookkeeping course with one of our Accredited Training Providers. If you have some experience you might prefer to buy a bookkeeping textbook in our Shop and work through it at your own pace. Most of our students train from home by part-time 'distance learning' but you can also study bookkeeping at college. ICB provides CPD events and support for qualified bookkeepers, but we do not provide bookkeeping training for the core qualifications.
